Meh. Submissions get blammed for a reason. If you work hard enough on your stuff there is no way it can get blammed. Have you seen some of the stuff that has made it through the portal?

I am working on my first submission right now, and I can promise with 100% certainty that it will not get blammed from newgrounds. I would literally bet 3 pay checks on it. You want to know my secret? I have been spending nearly 2 weeks on it so far, and it probably won't be done for at least another 3. That's if I work HARD.

I wrote a script, reviewed the script, revised it, got voice actors on board, and am practicing my technique before I even begin animating.

It's all about the effort.
